Slowly following his goal, Denzongpa won the Best Cadet Award for West Bengal and even participated in the parade of the Republican Day. After examining the effects of the Sino-Indian war of the early sixty years, nevertheless, Denzongpa's mother did not allow him to join the armies.
As a result, Denzongpa retired his candidacy from prestigious Pune Military College to join the FTII Film and Televisions Television Institute, Pune. FTII Denzongpa became a very good friend of Jaya Bachchan, his classmate. On Jaya's proposal, 'Tshering Phintso Denzongpa' took a simpler name: Danny!

Denzongpa, who did not know Indian well, had to protest with tracks early in his career. Another face of Bollywood was added to his misery that, according to the administrators of that time, was not appropriate for any role, with the exception of that servant.
After having fought in some films, Denzongpa finally reached the border when he played the negative role in the 1972 film, Dhundh. Interestingly, Gabar's iconic role was offered for the first time in Denzongpa. Because he filmed Fotherz Khan's Dharmatma, he could not accept this offer.
His first film, Phir Wahi Raat, starring Rajesh Khanna, is a huge hit at the contract. The actor also has a successful breach company in states such as Sikkim, Orissa and Guwahati.
