His first years of study are in Jodhpur, Dehradun, Aligarh and Delhi. During his studies at Kirori Mal College or Delhi University, Amitabh Bachan was also a student at the same university.
During his speech Kulbhushan Kharbanda and his friends created a theater group called "Abhiyan". Later he joined a bilingual theater group 'Yantrik'. He was the first paid artist of this last theater group.
After working at "Yantrik", he moved to Calculus in 1972. There he continued his career with the theater company "Padatik", along with coach and salesman in gas installation. called "Sakharam Binder".

After a few days, Vinay Sharma, scriptwriter and director, offered him the play "Atmakatha", but because of her injuries, Kulbhushan had to refuse the offer.
However, Vinay Sharma insisted that he was in the room, so he waited until he was restored. Kulbhushan left the theater after taking care of films.
In 2013, 'Atmakatha' returned to the stage after 17 years. In 2011 he fell off the horse and was badly injured.
