His father was a farmer and also has Aarahanin. He is the oldest of his brothers and sisters. He graduated in chemistry and worked during his fighting in a pharmacy in Vadodara. He moved to Delhi to deal with his activities and joined a theater group.
Because money was not enough in the theaters, he worked as a carer to fulfill his needs. He was enrolled in the NSD National Drama School and moved to Mumbai after his death in 2004 to pursue his performance.
In Mumbai, Nawaz had to face one of the worst years of his struggle. He had to stay in the apartment of one of his elders at the NSD, as long as he prepared the food for him. He debuted in 1999 with Bollywood with a very small role in the movie Sarfarosh by Stam Aamir Khan.

At first he worked in film studies and he only had stereotype roles. He appeared as a mobile phone in the comedy drama 2003 - Munna Bhai M.B.B.-, with Sunil Dutt and Sanjay Dutt. He tried to find a job in the television industry, but did not succeed.
He is a very shy person. He likes to stay calm and far from a celebrity. He has worked with the 3 Khans of Bollywood. Salman-Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Aamir-Talaash and Shah Rukh-Raees.
