He began his performance as a child artist in 1972 by the role of Balakrishna in the film Telugu Pistolwali. In 1987 he appeared in the film Telugu, Trimurtulu, directed by K. Murali Mohan Rao. He is an active member of the party of Telugu-Desam, founded by his father.
He appeared in the largest number of double roles, 13 and a triple role in the film Telugu Adhinayakudu 2012. He was the guest of honor at the 43th international cinema festival in India.
