After completing his studies at Kendriya Vidyalaya, he enrolled in a B.Sc. course at the Kirori Mal-University in Delhi. During his school days he was less inclined to theater and theater. However, after he entered the university, he turned to the theaters and adhered to a theater workshop.

After completing his studies at the NSD, he worked as the director of a theater school in Dubai. He returned, however, after 3 months in December 2007. In December 20, he was appointed professor at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York City.
