Both could qualify for the Great Indian Riding Challenge season. However, Capil Sharma was the winner. Besides being a comic, Chandan is also an actor. He played small roles in various Punjabi movies, such as Power Cut 2011, Disco Singh 2014, Judge Singh LLB 2015, etc.
It is interesting to note that Chandan was the first choice of Raju's help / service character in Kapil Sharma's Komedy Nights with Capil.

Due to his busy schedule, however, Chandan had to suspend the offer. In an interview Chandan revealed that he was also a productive painter.
He added that he had exhibited his paintings in various foreign countries, but he had to resign this hobby because of his busy schedule. He also produced a comedy in Punjabi called Laughter Da Master, broadcast in ETC-Punjabi.
