Due to his family's unfavorable financial situation, he had to help his family with milk supply, around a Saat Raasta area in Mumbai. He started his career as a worker in the Khatau factories, but factories when strikes began to demand, he formed the "Byculla band" with Babu Reshim and Rama Naik in the 70 Arun Gawli in youth.
Before he worked as a gangster, he also worked at Godrej and Crompton. His wife Asha Gawli was a Muslim before she married her and then was called 'Zubeida Mujawar'. In the 1980s he joined the Rama Naik band and was initially charged with protecting Dawood Ibrahim's shipments.
In 1986 he was arrested for the first time for the murder of the criminal Parasnath Pandey and Sashi Rasham, the pillar of the Cob Cob. After Rama Naik was killed because of a conflict in the countryside with Dawood Ibrahim, Gawli became Dawood's arctic enemy.

In the early nineteen, when his brother, Bappa Gawli, was cruelly killed by Dawood Ibrahim Parkar's men, he killed Dawood's brother. He had the gift to escape from prison. He was imprisoned for 9 years for terrorist and displeased activities under the TADA Act.
In 2004 he founded his own political party; "Akhil Bhartiya Seine" and challenged the elections in Maharashtra and was elected MP for Dagdi Chawl, Mumbai. Between 1986 and 2005, about 15 cases were recorded against him, but none of these infractions had been tried by the police.
He is a believer of Lord Ganesha and Lord Krishna, and is also a man who fears God. He was arrested in about 40 cases of various crimes. Arjun Rampal described his role in the movie "Daddy" 2017.
