Vyjayanthimala was mostly offered by her maternal grandmother, Yadugiri Devi.  When Vyjayanthimala was seven years old, she was chosen to present Indian classical dance for Pope Pius XII, while her mother was an audience in the Vatican in 1940.

Y. G. Parthasarathy was the uncle of his mother, who was a dramatist and a tamil actor. Director Mr. V. Raman saw her dancing and wanted her to play in her movie. He tried to convince her grandmother who did not want her to play in films.

Her grandmother was very worried about her dancing and her studies. In 1954 Vyjayanthimala played in the Nagin movie with Pradeep Kumar. The film became the most useful film of 1954. Pradeep Kumar.

In 1984 Vyjayanthimala tried a policy for the first time. When in 1984 she challenged Tamil Nadu's general elections for South Chennai's South Candidate as a candidate for the National Congress against the Era Sezhiyan, leader Janata.Era Sezhiyan
