Silambarasan is the son of the famous actor and filmmaker Tamil T. Rajendar. He first appeared on the screen as a children's artist in 1984 with the Tamil movie Uravai Kaatha Kili.
It appeared in 19 films like artist of girls and it was known him like "Little Superstar". Besides being an actor, he is also a singer and sang many popular songs such as "Mullaaga Kuththakkodaathu", "Chukkumala Chukkumala", "Baila More", "Jothikava" etc.
