In addition, he idolized actor Raj Kapoor and dreams to become himself like him. However, his father wanted two of his children to become doctors and the other two scientists. Although his brothers entered his father's desires, "the gun" was not something that easily resigned.

In addition, the actor politician has been seen as a judge in the popular comedy show Star One, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, season 4. It is interesting to note that Shatrughan Sinha was the first choice for the role of "Jai" played by Amitabh Bachchan in the 1975 classic Sholay classic.
