Although she only knew the base of athletics, she won the 100-murder races and the relay and finished second jump and high jump at school level in 1991-1992. In addition she finished a third in the 100 hurdles and a 4x100m relay in national school games.
Although she started his career in athletics with Zevenkamp, a combined athletic competition consisting of 7 different events, she only chose the health events and won a long jump medal at the Youth Asian Championship 1996.
