He often accompanied his father who gave him a glimpse of the islands of India. He is the director of the director Arif Ali, who has made his direct debut with the movie Lekar Hum Deewana Dil 2014. During his mid-school studies he remained with his aunt at the Crimea Palace in Jamshedpur.
The house was connected to cinema and he often watched movies for free. He turned the movie operator of a cinema into his friend and saw him change the videos. He did not study well and failed at the 9th standard. Failure shook his inner soul, but his father urged him to work hard and continue public service.
He came to Delhi and attended an Indo-College at Delhi University. He also prepared for civil services. However, he developed an interest in theater and founded Ibtida, the theater company of Hindu-College.

It has many relationships with the actors Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. In 2014 he directed a movie called Wagon. The film was praised by the critics for its unique character. Wagon was actually his first film, about which he wrote the script 20 years ago.
In an interview he revealed that he was very confused about his personality, which is also expressed in the characters of his films.
