Due to a serious accident in the university, his performance was interrupted for about three years. He also met his wife Shailaja.
Arvind Swamy was first introduced to him in the movie Bombay by Mani Ratnam, but he refused because he had to boil his beard that he could not do because he still demanded a claim.
After 10 years of battle he met the Sethu film in 1999. He gave everything he had for his role in Sethu, how to shake his head, losing 21 kg and having long nails. His role as Chithan's pregnant film in the Pithamagan movie was probably one of the most difficult roles in his career.
