He worked as an independent photographer for the TOI newspaper from the Times of India, but was successful when he was photographed for Miss India after returning his photography training in Chennai.
After seeing his performance in a short film entitled "Let's Talk" 2002, the film director Vidhu Vinod Chopra released it for the 2003 film "Munna Bhai MBBS". He suffered from dislexia, reading disorder in his early years.
His education was completely carried out by his mother, his father died before his birth. He met his Zenobia wife when he was young in his little potato. Famous choreographer Shiamak Davar discovered hidden acting talent and advised him to go to the theater.

He loves Rudyard Kipling's poem "Yes". He speaks fluently in languages such as Hindi, English, Prefecture, Bengali and Marathi. His son Kayoze can be seen in films such as "Student of the Year 2012", "Youngista" 2014 and "Michael Mishra's Legend".
