His nickname "Chikoo" was given by his coach of Delhi, Ajit Chaudhary, as a child. His favorite theme was 'history' and hated 'math'. In 2006, his father died of a stroke, but the day after his father's death, he fought for the game against Delhio Karnataka, in which he scored 90 points.

He never had a reservation plan for his future because he always wanted to become a cricketer. He has many superstitions. He takes black bracelets and never forgets to carry his "Kada" for his matches. He loves tattoos and his number of tattoos continues to increase.
